I am a postdoctoral researcher in human-computer interaction, currently working on a local-first environment for authoring books using web technologies as part of the OnePub project.

I am part of the ex)situ team of the LISN lab, which is part of Paris-Saclay University & Inria, where I previously conducted my doctoral research under the supervision of Michel Beaudouin-Lafon from 2020 to 2024, for which I was awarded the best dissertation award from AFIHM, the French HCI association.

My research lies at the intersection between HCI and programming. After augmenting text editors with additional representations for fragments of computer languages, I realised that the challenge I was most interested in was to make these improvements compatible with established ecosystems. To pursue this postmodern research program, I am now interested in investigating the potential and the limitations of fundamental OS concepts (such as file systems) to better exploit lurking malleability in widespread systems.

Besides research, I am also interested in contributing to societal matters—such as computing literacy and digital sovereignty—from an HCI perspective. After organising a workshop on HCI for public services, I now co-lead the HCI & Society working group of AFIHM.
